A University of Chile graduate in Foreign Trade and Business Administration. As an entrepreneur and industrial
business expert, he has developed multiple companies in Paraguay, including the maquila industry MARSEG,
a company with more than 1,500 employees that produces protection footwear: the TEXCIN group, the
biggest textile company in Paraguay (which includes the BASIC Group, Logitex and Textil San Francisco), and
PARAGUAY INVEST Group – Industries & Business, the first private consulting company in Paraguay to
provide advisory and strategic international association services. In addition, he is an inter-institutional advisor
for the auto industry company THN Corea/Hyundai and founding partner of the real estate and investment
company, AGSA Group.
Andrés actively participates in trade associations such as the Paraguayan Maquila Industries Chamber
(CEMAP), for which he acted as President, the Paraguayan Industrial Union (UIP), the Paraguayan Ministry of
Industry and Trade’s REDIEX for which he acted as Representative of the New Investments Committee.
